Corruption risk, risk of corruption?
Distinguishing criteria between petty and high-ranking corruption

WELCOME

Dear Visitors,

As a project manager, I am very pleased to announce the launch of our project website. The professional program entitled:

Corruption risk, risk of corruption?
Distinguishing criteria between petty and high-ranking corruption

will be implemented under the European Union HERCULE III program from 1 January 2021 to 31 March 2022. In the project led by the National Institute of Criminology, experts from Portugal, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania will participate in order to support and promote the successful implementation of the fifteen-month cooperation.

Our goal is to gather and disseminate knowledge related to the issue of corruption, in such a way that the information can be effectively used by both theoretical and practical professionals. We also aimed to make the knowledge and integrated analysis of domestic and foreign “good practices” available to professionals who can provide meaningful assistance in the effective prosecution, detection and finding of adequate criminal law instruments for corruption offenses. In order to successfully implement the project, we have compiled a program based on four pillars, within the framework of which we will organize workshops, training sessions and a closing conference; and several volumes will be published over a period of almost one and a half years. We will also create a project website so that the results areas widely available to the professional (or even lay, interested) audience as possible.
